Join us for this joint production with our school partners, Farnsworth and Johnson High School, with a cast of over 60 students plus a crew of 20 students who are all very excited to perform. The performances are free, however, there will be an opportunity to donate as you leave. The money collected through the non-profit organization, The Saint Paul Covenant, will help cover the costs of the musicals and the after school program, East Side Thrive.
On Sunday, November 24th, beginning at 9:30am, we will be offering shuttle service for those parking in our church lot who would like to be shuttled over to Johnson.
Nursery will be provided here at FCC. Sign up at the Welcome Center if you need either of these services or if you would like to volunteer in the nursery or as a shuttle driver.
Social Media, Youth and YOU: the second of a two-part class on Sunday, October 27, 12 noon-1pm
Do you know how to Vine, Tweet and Snap Chat? This interactive, two-part social media intensive class is geared for parents and guardians of youth - but accessible for anyone wanting to learn more about social media. We will cover some of the basics, take a look at what is new on the scene and also walk through ways to help protect yourself and your children online. Lunch provided. VIVE is a college readiness program for students in grades 7 through 12. VIVE encourages students to envision themselves as college students and challenges them to fully invest themselves in their junior and senior high school studies to best position themselves for admission and scholarship opportunities. Co-sponsored by North Park University and local Covenant churches, VIVE programs are held in key geographic locations around the United States. As the University of the Evangelical Covenant Church, North Park is committed to increasing college readiness, access, and success rates for underrepresented students. North Park believes that making college available to underrepresented students is an issue of justice. VIVE is designed to inspire and support underrepresented Covenant students and their friends to choose the path to a college education.

Their goal is to raise money for World Vision to provide fresh clean water to 400 children in desperate need. While there are also members of the team that had to drop out due to physical and health reasons, they have remained supportive of the team and have contributed to the fundraising efforts.
