Prayer Team Member Information:

  • Prayer Teams consist of seven individuals or couples (sometimes more) who have committed to pray for one year, specifically one day each week as well as at other times, as the Holy Spirit leads.
  • Recommitments can be renewed yearly or you can take a break from prayer team.
  • Prayer Teams are considered a Team because of the mutual prayer support provided.
  • You do not need to meet with your prayer team but some occasionally do, to pray for team members.
  • Confidentiality is stressed. What is prayed for by a Prayer Team stays with the Prayer Team.
  • An assigned “contact person” usually mails out prayers to the specific Prayer Team Members once a month.
  • The contact person will provide instructions to a new prayer member or the Prayer Ministries Coordinator will, Lynn Gilmore gilmork@msn.com 651-770-1536

Pray for the Persecuted Church - April 24, 2016 - When our persecuted brothers and sisters flee their homes and villages because of violence committed against them or because they are rejected by their families because they have chosen to follow Christ, they are usually in desperate need of temporary shelter. And shelter is one of the important needs that Voice of the Martyrs and other Christian organizations who serve the persecuted church can provide.

Safe Houses are a place where refugees can go to heal from their injuries and receive spiritual encouragement while recovering from their grief and loss. Living costs are covered; they receive Bible training and learn a trade such as small engine repair, tailoring or farming so that they might provide for their families. One such program in Columbia lasts for one year though many are ready to leave in six months. Safe Houses provide persecuted believers with a home until they can be placed with Christian family members or friends.

Please pray for the ministry of Safe Houses around the world that offer our Christian brothers and sisters desperately needed healing, spiritual growth and above all hope.

"...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." -Isaiah 40:13

Thank you for your continued prayers for our persecuted brothers and sisters. May you be blessed as you pray.
