Prayer Team Member Information:

  • Prayer Teams consist of seven individuals or couples (sometimes more) who have committed to pray for one year, specifically one day each week as well as at other times, as the Holy Spirit leads.
  • Recommitments can be renewed yearly or you can take a break from prayer team.
  • Prayer Teams are considered a Team because of the mutual prayer support provided.
  • You do not need to meet with your prayer team but some occasionally do, to pray for team members.

Pray for the Persecuted Church - December 6, 2016 - Our last prayer request was for Asia Bibi, a Pakistanti mother who has been on death row since 2010 for blasphemy. Her final appeal was heard in Pakistan's Supreme Court in October. The delays continue but so does interest and activity on Asia's behalf. Please continue to pray for Asia along with thousands of others around the globe. Pray for her, for her family and for those working on her behalf. Pray for her patience and endurance and that there be no more delays, and a favorable outcome for Asia so that her life be spared. Her courage and witness has been quite remarkable.

Prayers for our persecuted family around the world continue - seems the needs never diminish but continue to escalate as we hear of continued atrocities. I think we can be certain that in whatever diverse circumstances these precious believers find themselves in now at Christmas, they will find whatever way possible to celebrate and welcome the birth of our Savior. Please remember to pray for them during this season. The number of suffering Christians is in the millions - and they plead for our prayers.

Let's remind ourselves of the words of the Angel of the Lord found in Luke 2:10, and Rev. 5:9b, "... I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people ....from every tribe and language and people and nation." What a rich privilege we have to be able to pray for these suffering servants - some of whom are very young and others very old. Let's remember them all.

May God bless you as you pray!
