Every Kid to Camp (EKTC) We are well on our way to sending 68 children and youth to Covenant Pines Bible Camp this summer, as we have already received donations totaling $3391. We need your help! You’re invited to give to our EKTC fund by returning your tax-deductible donation (checks written to First Covenant Church) in the offering or to the EKTC mailbox in the church office. Check out our camp display in Upper Fellowship Hall to pick up a brightly colored giving envelope, see how many kids we have attending, funds received, and amount yet to go! Thank you for your generosity in ensuring that all kids who want to go to camp, are able to attend.

SANKOFA, July 14-17, 2016 - Come and learn how you can make a difference in the world. This journey challenges the participant to change his/her perspective about the racial Inequalities of the world. Relationships are built and deepened throughout this three-day trek into the footsteps of our Civil Rights leaders. For more information, please contact Angela Briggs,

Podcasts of Sunday messages beginning with May 1, 2016, can now be found on our church website on the "podcasts" page under the "Worship and Arts" tab ( and arts/podcasts/launch media player). A CD copy or an mp3 filerecording of any service may be requested by signing-up at the Welcome Center.

Book Clubs: Last Summer, First Covenant hosted several book clubs. We would like to again this Summer. If you have any book suggestions or are interested in leading a discussion on a particular book, contact Tom Cameron.

Soup Groups: Are you interested in sharing a simple meal with others in our congregation in a small, informal setting? Sign up to host and/or participate in our Summer Soup Groups! Two to four families will gather on a date of their choosing to eat potluck style and get to know one another better. Commit to one, two, or three gatherings and make some new friends! Please contact Amy Zupfer if you have any questions at (or 651-778-9249) and complete a sign up form if interested. The forms are available at the Welcome Center, and you can return your completed forms to Tom Cameron's church mail box.
